Jarilo Design & UK Fast @ Sale Sharks’ Season Finale Win!

Jarilo Design were Invited by UK Fast to Sale Sharks vs Gloucester in Manchester

This weekend Jarilo attended the Sale Sharks season finale vs Gloucester, courtesy of our friends at UK Fast, the Sharks’ main sponsor. Four of our team went along for the event: Jon, Chris, Josh and Kaya.

After arriving at the AJ Bell Stadium, we were escorted to the corporate event with Caine and Helena of UK Fast. It was great to finally put faces to names, have a bite to eat and chat before the big game.

The game kicked off at 4pm and the 12,000 capacity stadium was packed out. Almost instantly Sale scored a try, but Gloucester retaliated quickly. There were six tries scored in the first half alone. After an action-packed match, Sale took the win 46-41, importantly qualifying for European rugby next season. The atmosphere was brilliant and even those with a little less rugby knowledge had a great time!

It was then time to celebrate the results over a fantastic meal and more drinks. Soon followed the awards ceremony, opened by a speech from none other than rugby legend Mark Cueto (590pts in 303 games for Sale, 100pts in 55 games for England). Cueto was then followed up by renowned TV presenter John Innverdale who took control of proceedings from there.

Man of the match went to the Faf De Klerk the scrum, while try of the match was awarded to Denny Solomona – a contender for try of the season!

Our team at Jarilo had the best seats in the house thanks to UK Fast. Sharing our table with AJ MacGinty, Sale’s fly-half; it was great talking to the players, other business owners and the many UK Fast employees attending the game. Plus, we got a signed ball!

All in all, we’d like to say a massive thank you to UK Fast for inviting us. We’ve worked with them for over eight years now and it was great to take the relationship a step further. In particular we’d like to thank our account manager Caine and commercial manager / business liaison Helena, both of whom helped make a memorable day for all of us. They were both very attentive to individual needs and made sure glasses were always full.
