I joined the company back in 2012 as a humble trainee. I have worked my way up to becoming one of our senior designers and I am now an experienced veteran of the eBay team. I primarily work on eBay stores and listing templates which I have a lot of experience in. I also work on the EKM platform designing new EKM websites.
Originally from the Wirral, I went on to graduate from the University of Leeds in 2009 with a BA in Broadcasting before spending some time down in London on placement with the BBC.
After working on several music videos and films as an assistant director, I returned home to be closer to family and took a few part-time bar jobs. I soon realised that I would prefer to be drinking the pints, not pulling them, and therefore sent Jarilo Design my CV. Jon and Chris decided to take me on for some work experience as it was new to me, but it soon became apparent that my skills and experience were definitely suited to this role. Being encouraged by Jon and Chris I very quickly realised “Hey, I’m actually pretty good at this!”
In my spare time my passion is for photography which I plan to decorate my house with artwork that I have shot myself. As a big foodie, I love spending time in the kitchen coming up with new recipes, and I bring this creative flair to my design work.
There’s a big divide in the office when it comes to football allegiances – I fall firmly in the red camp, but Jon doesn’t hold that against me 😉
